Works great for taking soup to work for lunch. I just set the soup can into the cup to take with me. Have used dozens of times and washes well %26 doesn't easily stain. The "vented" pop-up on the lid is nice because it lets the soup heat in the microwave without fear of splattering while heating.

It's a really good mug. I got to use it once before it was taken by family to use for lunches. That never happens. But this mug they really liked. The lid snaps on easily and securely. Sistema makes my fantastic new favorite

This is absolutely perfect when you need to carry a hot beverage from one room to another, especially if you are temporarily using a Rollator or a cane. I highly recommend this product for those circumstances in particular and I will use it in the future when I don't need to take special precautions against spills. I've been using it for soup, but also for any liquidy thing that needs to go from one place to another either from the microwave or just from the stove top. I like the way the lid latches in multiple places. I just always leave the vent open to be sure I don't accidentally close it when I put it into the microwave to heat something. And lastly, it's wonderful that it's dishwasher safe.
