uhh, it's wire ... if you don't need high voltage/current connections, this item will do nicely ... the red/black conductors are useful for tasks that need polarity and they separate and strip easily for soldering ... I'll be looking for a heavier gauge (20 or 18) for better speaker hookups ... good value from this item, too
