Nice no-drill kayak racks
We have two 10-foot fishing kayaks that we want to take with us when we go camping. These racks seem to be just the ticket. After assembly I put them on my GMC Sierra 3500HD, adjusted the width for the bed rails, then put one kayak on to check where I had the racks positioned. I decided that the bow of the kayak was too close to the roof of the truck, so I repositioned the racks, and had them where I wanted. Assembly was a little tedious on one, as the pre-punched holes on one piece were not in perfect alignment, so I had to use a Dremel tool to adjust the holes. Otherwise, assembly was quite simple by myself. I found it best to have two people when mounting on the truck the first time, because the mounting hardware is not tightened until all is adjusted. The ratchet straps that came with the racks are very nice, too.
