Introducing the truly eye-popping Hammock Tub by ALFI brand. This elevated bathtub hangs suspended from the floor and reinvented the way we design bathrooms. While relatively new to the market, solid surface resin tubs retain heat well, and come in a variety of shapes and sizes, making them a great choice. This tub features wide edges, and full-length metal support beams to ensure stable installation and an unrivalled look. Offered in both black matte or white matte colors.
- Unlike any tub you have ever seen before, this completely hanging hammock bathtub, will surely make a statement in any bathroom. Where else have you ever seen a suspended bathtub before
- Made of smooth solid surface resin composite material with a black matte finish.
- This tub does not have an overflow hole and does not need one. This is because a drain would be installed in the floor directly under the tub's drain opening so if any water spills out it would flow into the floor drain.
- The Hammock Tub must be installed between two walls. Since this tub is suspended above the floor you will need to select a shower drain to install on the floor directly under the tub's drain hole. Another option is to create a slight angle on the entire floor under the tub and install a linear drain at the end of the slope.
- Includes a concealed black matte matching pop-up drain. Also included is a drain flange that mounts under the tub to prevent splashing.
- This tub requires that you purchase a floor mounted or wall mounted tub filler. No faucets or predrilled holes included.
- The durable surface of this tub makes it extremely resilient to scratches and stains. However, if any imperfection occurs on the white color, it can easily be removed using extra fine sandpaper. Do not sand the black color.
- Human weight capacity of 300 lbs. It can hold one or two people as long as their total combined weight is 300 lbs. or less.
