Shorted Out Electrical System.

One of the lights shorted out my electrical system and left me stranded. I tried to jump start my vehicle and the jumper cables got red hot and started smoking. One of the headlights did not have a boot over one of the light plugs and I didn't think anything of it. Terrible. When I unplugged the connections to one of the headlights I was able to jump start the vehicle.
