    Good rod, great quality for its price point

    I've been a fan of Okuma rods for a long time. This model, the 6'6" XH is strong and the hardware, including guides, seat, and handles, are good for a budget-friendly offshore jigging rod. I have paired it with an Okuma Makaira 16II. I've also owned the 6'0" H model for 2 years and have it paired with a Daiwa 50H. I have no trouble pulling gag groupers and AJs away from structures.
