The part was difficult as advertised to install, but compared to the $1300 estimate from my mechanic was certainly worth the effort! Heat feels good! I would also recommend backwashing your heater at the same time by reversing the ports coming through the firewall by running water using a typical water hose.

I had the typical problem with Ford Rangers where it was blowing only hot air, no matter where I put my temperature. Parts Geek had the replacement door at the cheapest price I could find. The product was at my house in less then a week and it came with everything I needed to repair the blend door. The only Caveat I would add to the instruction is to make sure the little pocket at the bottom is clear before trying to install the door. I cut my hands up pretty bad trying to get the new door in because I didn't check to see if there was anything in there. Once I cleared the hole with the piece of the original door that broke, it slipped right in. Lesson learned!
