Make sure the air inlet of the air tubing is higher than the filter. When you use the filter as a submersible water pump, please remove the air tubing. Please do not to place the filter in aquariums where there are many small fish, so that the filter does not trap small fish.

Very good product would by again
I use this pump in a 75 gallon turtle tank. I do have go clean it once a week as every turtle owner knows they are messy. This pump works very well to clean the water and it is very easy to take apart and put back together making cleaning it simple. I have another pump that I'm thinking I may replace with one of these due to how simple this one is to clean.
