I didn't judge the size very well or should I say I didn't look at a tape measure to see the size but I will buy them again. I'm using them for an unconventional purpose. I am very short and was having trouble getting items on the bottom of my small chest freezer. I used these to divide my primarily meat %26 cheese up %26 put in the freezer making sure the tops were standing up to be able to grab them. One for beef (roasts steaks ECT), 1 for hamburger, 1 for pork, one for chicken %26 1 for cheeese. This is an extra layer for things I've packaged in freezer zip locks against freezer burn also. I used masking tape to make labels showing how much of each thing was in each big bag as well as masking tape dates on product bag itself. I will be buying them to store seasonal clothes.
