Not Worth the Money

This is my first time buying an absorption kit, so I had pretty high expectations. Tried one of the pads on the surface of my leaky hot water tank over night, and the water was dripping off the edges of the pad the next morning. And when I picked it up, I noticed there were still dry spots on the pad, meaning there's barely any absorption. I was expecting the water to be absorbed and remain trapped in the fibers of the cloth. Plus, the pad was too easy to cut and had this dry feeling material— almost like a really thin, cheap carpet padding. I'm definitely hoping the long sock-like ones will work a little better. At least it came with a zipper tote bag, some gloves, and some disposable bags if nothing else. Sadly, this was a bust.
