[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite the title, I am loving these. With the social distancing protocols in our town we are allowed to go out and walk, and I've been doing that almost daily for the past several weeks (what prompted the need for new shoes). I'm regularly hitting 4-5 miles per day and these have good cushioning for walking on firm surfaces and a pretty solid sole for stability on uneven surfaces like broken asphalt or rocky paths. I haven't tested the waterproof claims with local puddles because they are white, but in the past my Columbia shoes haven't disappointed in that department.
My only complaint is with the color. I should know better than to purchase white sneakers, but it really hit home when I put them on yesterday after less than a week of use. I noticed a bluish tinge on the tops of the shoes and realized that my jeans (all more than a year old and frequently worn and washed) had rubbed color onto the shoes where the pant leg rubs. It might not be noticeable on a darker color, but on the white it just looks off and makes me less likely to wear them with leggings, shorts, or anything else that won't cover the spots. Guess I won't mind so much anymore if I step in a puddle :-).
