Awesome cooler and indeed bearproof. Keeps items cold for a long time. Bought this over the much more expensive Yeti, as the similar performance of the Ozark does not justify paying much more for a big name brand. Note: roto-molded coolers are heavy....

Great cooler. Need upper body strength to lift it.

This cooler is awesome! Obviously made for serious campers. But, it weighs almost 15 lbs when empty. I can't imagine trying to lift it with ice and food inside. I returned it because it was too heavy. I need to go back to the gym before I am worthy of it.

Excellent price point.

Used to store refreshments, ice only lasted about 2 days, but was still cold. Had to replenish ice once. In fairness, it was opened and closed frequently by four campers. The cooler is a bit heavy, but inexpensive. Easy to use locking closures, seems very durable, definitely will last a couple generations. Not bad for the price.
