Love the product but colors are off

My order just arrived and I had ordered 2 slipcovers in "oatmeal" based off the picture but they came in "taupe". When I called customer service she said they are the same color. I'm not sure why taupe and oatmeal are both offered as a separate color choices. The color is much darker than appears in the picture--more like a latte than an off-white.
