So first I should say I bought this as a kinda last minute closet cosplay for a slightly personified green Snifit Shy Guy (Mario). I usually sew cosplays with shorts of some type, but it's been kinda cold, so I kinda did a table flip on all the cosplays I was working on and decided I just wanted something warm, cozy, and comfy. For the con I'm wearing this to, I'm staff and will be seated most of the time, so warming up by walking around isn't an option. All that being said, I wanted an oversized jacket because Shy Guys wear robes. The bigger the better. So the jacket... it is, indeed, warm and cozy! This will help a lot for the con. The size is not super duper oversized, but it's not fitted. It keeps a shape, so actually it's probably better this way instead of wearing something that's falling everywhere. When it comes to buying clothes online, I'm always scared the arms will be too small, which is often the case for some reason. This hoodie jacket tunic thing has nice, normal arms though. I mean, at 5X I'd hope they'd be. It still felt comfortable even wit a whole other light sweater shirt underneath. I should also say the green color is a lot lighter than pictured, but that works out in my favor because the character's robe color is pretty much the same color as what I got. But if you want a deep green color then you're out of luck because it's more like a Kelly Green... or just regular green. It's pretty long. I'm relatively tall, somewhere between 5'9" to 5'11"-- I swear it's different every time I measure-- but yeah the jacket ends about 4 to 5 inches above/at my knees. Honestly, if it wasn't such a bright green, I'd probably wear it not for cosplay too-- which was my original intention. I had planned to get if for the cosplay and then just wear it normally afterwards. I still might, to be honest. It's pretty comfy and green is still my favorite color and I have no shame. Overall, it works. If the colors you see on the photos I uploaded look okay then it's probably fine for you. Thank you!
