Monster Amp!

This 2400W Amp is a monster! I have two Pioneer 12" shallow subs hooked up in my Ford F150 and it beats these subs. Amp is turned all the way down and it still makes the subs thump! I was a little worried at first, I didn't know if an amp under $200 will be able to push these speakers, but they do. This amp is a true 2400 watts, unlike other big names that claim 3000 or 5000 watts and you only get half the watts, if that. Im very happy with this amp!

Certified power

As with all Pioneer amps, this is CEA certified. Which means it WILL perform as claimed and can put out rated power. I am using this at 1 ohm to power 2 Pioneer TS-W3003D4 subs. They get loud. Very loud. This amp stays cool even after an hour of abuse at 1 ohm. Very efficient. Most of these amps bench test over 1400 watts at 1 ohm. For this price, it's unbeatable. As for the guy that is running this off his battery and then having trouble starting your vehicle, lol what did you expect?? This is an extremely powerful amplifier and draws a lot of current. Run your vehicle so it can draw from the alternator and not ruin your battery. Besides your alternator will provide an extra couple volts more than your battery. And that will increase the power output of an amplifier.

Very good

I run a Power Acoustiks MOFO 122 12" sub (1500rms) wired to 1ohm in a 1cu ft box and it rattles my ear drums so much that they hurt if I don't turn it down. I only have a 100a fuse on it even though the manual recommends 150a fuse. It accepts my 4g power and ground wire. I used the bass boost on bass heavy songs and my woofer started smelling like it was burning but the amp did not overheat nor did the 100a fuse blow. IMO the amp is too powerful for my sub. -1 star because when I play music in battery mode, then try to crank my car I get a audible power surge through my subs that can be quite loud if the volume is up. I haven't tried to find out why yet but my ground and power connections are very good. Pros: small size, good looks, efficient, no need for remote wire, runs cool, powerful, sounds good Cons: Glossy finish is easily scratched,
