The SOL 2 Person Emergency Bivvy arrived on the date as promised. It was the correct size I had order.
I tested it in my backyard. I first set up my Eureka 2 person tent with the rain fly, I inflated my Kylmit sleeping pad and spent the night. I used a fleece blanket inside the bivvy. I slept in a light pair of pants and light long sleeve shirt with only cotton socks on.
It was very windy all night. The temperature got down to the mid 60's, I was very warm through out the night and it got hot inside the bag.
I could feel some condensation inside the bag during the night.
I checked inside the bag in the morning and found moisture in the bottom of the bag.
I had a feeling that condensation would build up and that's why I used the fleece blanket. Over all I am pleased with the results,
it will keep up warm in emergency situations or as an extra bivvy over a sleeping bag in cold weather, plus its water proof.
