I've read that white tea is made from the earliest stage of the plant, before green. It's a delicate tea. I only leave the bag in long enough to get a light caramel color, so one bag will yield two cups. Delicious! Feels like a gentle hug. The price has gone up in the last 20 years, but it's still reasonably priced for 100 bags.

The Best Tea
This tea is absolutely the best tasting, smoothest tea that I've ever tasted. I love green tea and black tea and I've been drinking them for nearly 15 years. But I must say, this white tea has a smooth, rich taste and it takes very little sugar or honey to sweeten.

It's hard to find a good white tea that is fair in price. I enjoy the white and black tea from uncle Lee's, it's better than the popular brand name teas. The green tea is too strong in flavor for me. Walmart should stock white tea on their shelves....or at least at the Super Walmart's
