Berkley Gulp! Alive Saltwater Shrimp/Peeler Crab Asst Soft Bait

Just came back from fishing the flats at Steinhatchee, Fl. Fished the 4" Gulp shrimp in pearl/chartreuse.... caught over 100 trout, some reds to 23", mackerel and a bluefish. We fish a Cajun Thunder orange popper with 24" more or less of 20# Seaguar fluro and a 1/8 oz, 4/0 Owner hook pink jig... once a trout gets it in its mouth, it is hooked! It just doesn't get any better for fishing on the grass flats. I have had very good success with this Gulp on just a 1/4 oz jig for flounder. Hard to keep the ladyfish and lizard fish off the hook, and puffers are death on a Gulp.

I have been guiding out of Apalachee Bay FL for 20 years. I started using the Gulp when they first came out and 99 per cent of the time when I use grubs it's the 3 inch pearl white or new penny. There is not a fish that swims in our waters that I have not caught on a Gulp, either under a Cajun Thunder or just fishing with a Gulp and 1/4 or 1/8 th lead head. If it swims in saltwater it will bite a Gulp. Capt. Jody Campbell
