Garage door
I have a metal garage door, facing south. Living in Las Vegas, the door becones sizzling hot to the touch, radiating heat to the garage itself. Yesterday I installed this product. It is very easy to install, just measure each panel and cut to size. Taping or gluing is not necessary because the lips on the garage door panels hold the product in place. I experimented a bit, applying 1-3 layers of the product on various panels. Today I went outside with a temperature meter and observed door temperatures of 116-125 degrees. Then I measured door temperatures inside the garage. The surface temperature was 84 degrees on all panels; in made no difference if I had installed one or three layers. Bottom line is that this product is inexpensive, a cinch to install and highly effective. Do not be concerned that the product seems too thin.
