Solid Choice

Shopped quite a bit comparing size, setup and overall design. This one checked all the boxes being full size and having stair setup instead of ladder. Shipped in three pretty heavy boxes and arrived quickly. Assembly was probably 5 hours (while watching TV and taking a lunch break.) Instructions and assembly order were pretty intuitive, but I did have to double back to a few pieces and loosen them to adjust square when adding other pieces. My only concern during assembly was the stair portion; just the order of assembly and relying on wooden dowels for a bit mad it a tad flimsy during the process and a bit difficult to keep it square. Once the stairs were fully assembled, they were quite sturdy. Completely assembled, this thing looks good and with all bolts tightened, it can be slid as one piece into place with no structural concerns. I climbed on it to tighten the last few screws for bed slats and it held me fine at 230lbs. Overall very happy with quality and will update after our daughter uses it for some time of any concerns arise.
