Great sound, easy install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally got this hooked up in my car and wow, big sound for a small speaker. Definitely recommend finding a local installer who can hook everything up the right way if you're unable to install everything yourself. Having the experience really matters. I'm happy with how this turned out.

Great sub for a smaller sealed box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MB-Quart DS1-254 shallow mount sub driver is a higher quality clean sounding sub. If it's used in a smaller sealed box it's very flat and tight. It's more of a “musical” sound as opposed to a noise maker. The voice coil had a little scratch in it. But it broke In nice and it moves well. Pretty good excursion for a shallow planar driver. I'd recommend it when used in an audiophile type of set up. Rather than the “banger” that passes your house nightly.

Great subwhoofers
