Urban Classic American Legacy Quilt Frame-Fob: Mi

I've just received this frame three days ago! Haven't actually had the chance to use it yet. I was looking at it and reading up on how it goes together and how the quilt is held in place. This is done with strips of heavy fabric (twill, denim or canvas) that's been attached to the Q-bar with carpet tacks or staple gun, and the basted end of the quilt is pinned to it and then rolled on tight and the opposite end is attached in the same manner but not rolled--this is the end the quilting begins. It seems to be a lot like the ones they used back in my great grandparents day, only instead of pulling the frame up to the ceiling when not quilting, the fame is on legs and can be taken apart with the quilt attached for storage--seems to be along the same idea. I believe, I'm going to enjoy this frame and look forward to using it when I get the next quilt ready for quilting. I'm stepping out on a faith to say yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I gave it 5 stars, because anything would be better than lap quilting when it comes to large quilts--small wall quilts is fine for hoops, but not the much larger ones.
