This is the best rod and reel combo ever. Easy to use and light and compact to be able to carry anywhere. super strong! I've caught 10 pound Bass, large catfish, even a 5 FOOT LONG alligator gar on it ( I tied on a steel leader) with just the line that comes already on the spinning reel. Definitely the best rod and reel in my entire life. i was hesitant at first just from the size of it, but I'm glad i went with it. Great things do come in small packages!

Great small combo for the price great to have in your car as a backup or as an emergency when you're out and you see a chance to fish. The reel is OK for small freshwater fish. The rod itself is pretty strong. I’ve put a heavier wheel on it and used it on the beach and caught some nice sized fish..
