Enjoyable and informative history

Dan Jones is the most accessible medieval British historian currently publishing and in The Plantagenets, he guides the reader through some of Britain's most famous monarchs. The narrative is very informative but at the same time the storytelling is engaging to both trained historians and non trained readers. Highly recommend for anyone interested in England's medieval history, the brother kings Richard the Lionheart and King John, or anyone just wanting to read enjoyable nonfiction.
