The Ridgid K-400 machine is designed for drain cleaners, service plumbers, facility and institutional maintenance departments, and property management companies. It features a solid core cable that is rugged and kink-resistant, along with an autofeed system that powers cable in and out of the drain. The cable control system causes the drum to stop spinning when the blade becomes lodged in a blockage, limiting the potential for cable to flip over in the drum and helping to indicate when blockages are encountered. The K-400 also includes an integrated telescoping handle and transport cart for easy movement to and from the job site.
