Epoca Thermal Carafe 34 oz. Chrome - PECS-5310

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the carafe I thought it was going to be bigger. After washing it and finally using it I put coffee in it. It actually stayed hot for majority of the day, I was very shocked. Also on the box it mentions that it can keep drinks cold. So I added cold water and waited a few hours. It wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. So I put ice and water in it, it stayed cold and still had the ice cubes in it. This is perfect for any trip, kid function or even at work. Highly recommended

This loos nice when you first get it, but it is cheaply made It looks like chrome, but it is plastic - this means it is hard to clean (no dishwasher) and it starts to peel and flake rather quickly. The inside is glass (that is a bonus for me - I don't like plastic with hot liquids) but the seals on the bottom and top are not well made - they leak into the sides between the glass and the plastic covering and the bottom seal (which you an remove to clean) also leaks sometimes. You can't soak the whole thing. The worst is the cover/spout. There is no way to clean inside it and liquid pools in the bottom. Doesn't really keep things hot either -even with priming with boiling water. I wouldn't buy it again and I wouldn't recommend it
