As always I choose Marinelands filters for all my Aquariums all sizes work well above all other similar Brands ...Marineland offers Physical,Chemical and Biological filtration all in one sturdy solid built filters that usually outlast your Tank and keeps on working for new tanks ...I am always able to keep my fish healthy and happy thriving in beautiful clear water... the Bio-Wheel is the best holder and grower of Beneficial Bacteria that is on the market before moving up to a cannister filter ...if you are inexperienced in Aquariums then always get a Marineland filter it will keep your fish happy and alive. ..I always get a filter that is rated above how many gallon tank I have....example for a ten gallon I get one rated for 20 gallon and so on...It's always best to have a filter that can support whatever problems may arise and keep your tank water clean and oxygenated....but that's just my opinion and from my personal experiences. ... Also never forget to keep up with weekly or monthly water changes no filter will ever make it uneccisary to not keep changing out old water imagine if we had to keep rebreathing the same air in a 5 foot radius for life...the fish will thank you for it!!
