Innova Hearth & Home S873-51 Lily Pad Birdbath with Folding Stand - Verdigris

I bought this for my wife, who is an avid gardener and likes to have a birdbath in her garden (she refers to birds as ""my customers""). The last birdbath was made of resin and didn't last long. This one comes in three parts: the 4-legged stand, the lilypad water bowl and the ornamental bird. The stand comes fully assembled. All thst is necessary is to screw on the ornamental bird (no problem) and place the bowl on top of the stand. At the top of the stand there are four rubber suction cups, one on each leg, designed to hold the water bowl stationary. This is a somewhat silly idea which betrays the product's Chinese origin. Over time, these suction cups will become weathered, stiff and useless. However, the fully assembled product is sturdy and stands firmly in the ivy bed beneath our Japanese maple tree. It looks absolutely lovely in the garden. My wife is very happy with it. It seems like it will give us many seasons of use. The all-metal construction will allow remedial painting in case of rust.
