As water enters the bilge and reaches a certain height, a sensor turns the pump on. After the water is pumped out, another sensor shuts off the pump. The sensors' unique "field effect" technology is eco-friendly because they only sense the dielectric constant of water. Flow Rate: 1100 GPH, Port Type: 1-1/8" Hose, Voltage: 12V DC.
