As advertised, these filters are exact replacements for the primary air filter for my Kenmore Upright Bagless Vacuum Cleaner. I ordered two replacement filters so I would have spares and could continue using the vacuum cleaner when the primary filter gets clogged and needs to be washed and then dried for 24 hours before it can be re-installed for use. When my wife unexpectedly passed away, I became a widower who was not used to the daily maintenance required to take care of my home. As a result it has become a stereo-typical "bachelor" pad with the carpets not being vacuumed as regularly as they should be resulting in the rapid filling of the vacuum when I finally did remember to clean the carpets (which usually occurs only when I am expecting company which is not very often). So when I do finally get around to vacuuming I don't want to have to suddenly stop because I have to wait for the clogged primary filter to dry out before it can be re-installed after required washing. I simply install one of my spares and continue on vacuuming. I then clean and wash the filter when I have time later.
