I am big on smoothies and milkshakes; I have struggled to find blenders that crush big pieces of ice but this one crushes and blends beautifully. It is user friendly and very convenient. Very easy to use which is so important for me as I have my grandma staying with us. She makes her own smoothies without anybody's help. It is a great blender for thick recipes. Literally, it blends smoothly without a problem. I made a vegetable soup that had big chunks of vegetables and it blended quickly and without any issues. I am really impressed with the performance of this blender. If you want a good blender that, does it all, this is a good one to have under your belt.
