It does hold, very nicely, alot of jewelry. My daughter likes a place to put all her jewelry organized. But the design is poor. You Have to secure the back to the wall with the included hardware or it Will fall over. The back stand is only secured to the bottom of the platform. It has No shelf levels ( like other cabinets) that help reinforce the stability. The back stand Bows lightly with the weight (which is why securing it to the wall is necessary). It is Not 360 spinning (I was looking at so many cabinets to choose from , I overlooked that feature ((and the lack of reinforcing shelves)). We ended up just putting a hand towel on the back part and leaned it against the wall. It still works fine without using the base and just leaning against the wall. When we move this will be in a yardsale. I will buy one that has 360 rotation and two shelves attachments for a better stable Non wall attached cabinet. In hindsight I would probably have been better off buying a one that over hangs on a door Or one that has two separate "T" legs.
