Works for my application...

I had a unique situation...I have an old 1972 BMW2002 with the Frigiking AC unit, and the AC vents had lost their vanes, were cracked, and the old chrome plating was coming off. I've searched for a couple months for replacements, and came across these (I think they're for a truck!). The only issue was that the size of these vents wasn't listed, but they looked the right shape. I crossed my fingers and ordered 2, and the height (short side) was exactly what I needed to fit inside my original vent frame (after removing the internal vanes except for about 1/16" on each side). The width (longer side) was slightly shorter than the inside of my original vents, so I trimmed the ends to leave about 1/16" of the original vanes. Success!!! And, I like the black look better than the old worn chrome (I'm going to paint the chrome edges of the remaining old grill so it won't stand out).
