I like these bunion guards
My bunion is the distal fifth metatarsal, instead of the first, as most folks have. With this situation, I put the loop over my 4th and 5th toes, shielding my protruding 5th metatarsal head. This gives me sufficient comfort that I can keep working without surgery. Note: These stretch out after about a week, so figure that you will go through about a pack a month. That is the only appreciable downside. I like the softness and size. If it was taped on, the tape would be problematic, so this is about the only solution I can think of.
