bought this for my 11 year old... tough looking bike at a fraction of the cost of the usual Trek or REI bikes I usually purchase. Past REI bikes were higher quality; Trek less notibly so. I'm writing this review to share this important bit: I recommend you have the pros at REI assemble it. it cost me $150, which also included a seat post fastener because the bike was missing one. REI fixed a bunch of things.
