Panasonic DVD/CD player, model DVD-S700

The Panasonic DVD/CD player (model DVD-S700) that I recently purchased from Focus Camera has turned out to be a good investment. This player was very easy to attach to my Panasonic TV set, and reliably plays both DVDs and music CDs.

Nice overall

I bought this DVD player because my old one wouldn't play some of the newer formats or regions. This player was supposed to play all regions, however, we put a dvd in the other night & received the "will not support this region" notification. Also, using the dvd subtitles seems to cause some problems now & then, so maybe stick to utilizing them on your tv instead if needed (hard of hearing). Have had a few brief glitches happen during a couple of movies (brand new Robin Hood dvd), but otherwise it's pretty nice. I have to use brute force with the remote control buttons, but that will probably get easier with use. It plays movies well, is quiet, small, and I haven't really had any significant problems yet, so I would recommend it. Just make sure that you ask about Region playability if that is important to you.

No Blue Ray or Netflix

Its ok but kinda wish I had bought a Blue Ray DVD Player now. Its an ok basic DVD Player but does not have Blue Ray or ability to Watch Netflix or Hulu, And not a Smart Tech. etc.
