Olight RN 1500 Lumens Rechargeable Bike Headlight (Black)

With 3 steady light power setting and 2 flash modes, the RN 1500 has all you will ever need and nothing you don't. On the low setting (which is 300 lumens) you have more than enough light for any on road riding and the battery life will be over 7 hrs. I only use the 750 lumen (medium) for off road riding and almost never need the highest (1500) setting. For day time riding I generally use the first flash mode( slow flash) and the battery will last about 12 hours on this setting. The strobe setting is brighter and is really only needed in high traffic areas where the rider is more likely to be missed by motorists due to the volume of surrounding traffic. The RN1500 is extremely well built with an alloy body and is waterproof. The lens has a diffuser on the top so it will not blind oncoming traffic. The mount is a quarter turn garmin style mount so the light is very easy to attached and detach. Keep in mind, while the mount itself is very secure, it is not a silicone strap but instead is tightened down with an allen screw. This means if you want to quickly swap the light between multiple bikes you will need a mount for each bike. The light comes with one mount but you can purchase additional mounts if needed. The only drawback to this light is that the power level indicator remains green until you are below 20% power. So, for example, if you check the power level before a ride and note that the inidcator is showing green, it may mean you only have 21% power left and will be left in the dark if you plan a ride longer than an hour. The best way to remedy this is to simply charge the light after each ride so it is always at 100% at the start of your ride.
