This is a good size for a small meal. For an adult I wish I had seen a larger one, not a huge one. I didn't see a variety of colors. It's suppose to keep food hot for 10 hours. By the time 10 hours go by the food is somewhat warm. It's suppose to keep food cold for up to 8 hours. By the time 8 hours go by ur food is not super cold but it's cool. Overall it's a good non bulky thermos.
