The "Everyday Clean" version of the roller is a nice balance between strong pull of pet hair while not damaging the fabric of a soft shirt material. After my cat gets off my lap, I use this roller to take off the loose hair from my shirt. Afterward, the roller has most of the cat hair and a small amount of fuzz from the shirt material. It won't take off the cat hair that becomes interlocked in the shirt weave, but if it did, it would take off more of the shirt fibers as well. If I really wanted to remove those I could pick them out. I strongly recommend this product if you're going to roll various types of materials, and I would recommend the stronger, more sticky version of the roller if you're only going to be rolling tough materials like jeans or furniture. Good product and I like the multiple strength options.
