Just my opinion, this Orbit pest control unit is overpriced for what you actually receive. You stand back and look at it and maybe wonder why it costs over $80? I hope it lasts long enough to justify the high cost to get one. Quality is okay, I have no problem with that. I believe it works sometimes at night as expected. It just doesn't look like an $80 piece of equipment. I wouldn't buy it again…

Works Great!

I Put Sod in my backyard at end of summer. Raccoons came every night rolled it up to eat worms below the sod. It was a disaster. I trapped 5 raccoons and 2 possums and relocated them. But still the yard was being torn up. I purchased the Orbit and I put the Sprinkler about 10 feet from where they were tearing up the yard and the sod has not been disturbed since setting it up. Very happy with how it works. Its been over a month and the critters don't like getting wet or the noise when it kicks on. You have to get AA lithium batteries, You can use regular AA but they don't work as well and my regular AA wore out in a few days. Save your yard and garden, this thing works great!

These are really great! They do keep the critters away. However you do have to be careful yourself if they are set to motion activated and you yourself walk past them. They are very sensitive and you could get wet!
