Sizing a little off

For the most part the swim trunks fit okay but they don't quit fit right, my husband always has a problem with pants/shorts not fitting right, even though they say big or tall sizes. I'm not sure how to phrase this, he says they short waisted, they don't fit right in the seat, especially bending over... you would think that a big and tall store would know this... the waist fits but not the 'seat', sits lower than the waist...

Tech pants and Boulder cargo pants were too large, but they shrink a lot.

I have found that according to my husband’s measurements and the side guid in the catalog, I need to order one size smaller in tops and pants. However, the Tech pants and the Boulder cargo pants have shrunk quite a bit in length and size, so they are working out okay. I know longer dry Tech pants in dryer, because they now are at a good fit. Still working on shrinking Boulder cargo pants. If I order a size smaller, I will not put them in the dryer, if they are a better fit.
