The Outdoor Research Crocodiles are the original do-it-all gaiter of mountaineers, backcountry skiers, and off-trail adventurers, the Crocodile is designed to handle anything. Durable Taslan Gore-Tex leg sections resist Devils Club and keep snow out. The 1000D Cordura boot section, lined with coated 8 oz. packcloth, stands up to ski edges, crampon snags, and general boot wear. The water-resistant coating on the packcloth is sewn to face the Cordura layer, protecting the coating from boot abrasion. The hook and loop front closure is sewn with sturdy double-needle stitching. A shear tab prevents the front closure from separating at the bottom. The urethane coated nylon instep strap can be replaced on the trail without tools.

Great produce would buy again.

Gaiters are great! My old pair would just soak up water and then they weren't good for much (not OR brand). So I bought these at a recommendation of friend and again they are great. Fit it excellent compared to my old gaiters. These are also nice because I don't think they will soak up water or build snow and ice on the bottoms.

These will outlast all others

I don't need them often but when I do it's in wet and deep snow conditions. These flat out work and keep you boots and pant legs out of being wet, muddy and or snagged on brush. More money than some house brands but you'll likely only buy these once so I say they are a good value. The Velcro is the high grade version and stays closed under hard use.
