exact replacement. It's a shame Ford made it so hard to change on the newer Escapes. Got it in plug was right fit and turned on power. Left all the parts off the lift gate until tested the camera. A little brighter than the original. The parking lines clear as can be. Much clearer when backing at night than the original too. With my 2nd extended warranty the dealer would have charged me $250 my deductible and listed the camera before labor to install it as $300. Save by doing it myself with the right part.

Replacing the camera was very easy. A smart 15 year old could do it too. The whole job took me 10 minutes to complete. I watched a Youtube video first to know what to expect.
