This all-purpose grass seed mix is designed to be greener, denser, and more durable than Kentucky 31 tall fescue grass. In addition, this lawn seed has a medium coarse bladed texture with high drought resistance. Use this tall fescue grass seed in areas with full sun or partial shade to overseed a thin lawn or to start a new lawn. Apply in four simple steps: 1) Prep area per label directions for seeding a new lawn or overseeding, 2) Apply grass seed using a Scotts® spreader at the recommended setting on the label, 3) Rake to cover seed just below the soil surface, and 4) Water daily until seedlings reach at least 2 inches in height.
