Sperry Men's Striper II Slip On Sneaker Salt Washed White - STS22404 SW WHITE

First day my right shoe had an uncomfortable hard sharp edge located on the inside where the elastic expansion next to the tongue of the shoe joins the canvas, fortunately after a day or two of wear with socks the sharpness dulled and is no longer uncomfortable even barefoot. Other than that new shoe break-in period these shoes are comfortable and I enjoy the “distressed” look. Comparable to Vans slip-ons but better priced as their prices have steadily increased for even their basic shoes. The outer sole tread design of the Sperry shoes I find to be better than Vans especially on wet surfaces providing more traction and anti slip, which is nice as my line of work is in watersports and often walk wet surfaces.

Old School.. still cool.. The shoes are exactly as pictured and arrived ahead of schedule; a big plus. The design is one having been around for years and provides a fit whereby the shoe stays 'with you' .. unlike other brands which are sloppy in their fit. The added design of being a wet deck shoe allows the shoe to work well in slick conditions.. important detail and a reason to return to this brand and style. No slip means no backside bounce. I'd suggest this shoe to others in a heartbeat.
