Exactly as advertised - quiet and powerful, too powerful for my current tank so I had to difuse it a little by hiding the stone in nside a rock but the Betta loves the bubbles. I am waiting for my other tank (bigger) to arrive so I can transfer the device to it and it will be used on the recommended tank size. Money wise, excellent deal; silence- makes the day go by smoother without the hum of an air bubbler in the background.
