Very quite operation when on low speed. Do hear the pump start up in the morning and when it is on high speed. Highest setting only lasts about 20 mins, then drops to a medium speed for 2 hours then low speed for the rest of the day. Pool and spa water circulates well and stays crystal clear. Replaced Older fixed speed pump

I'm happy with the pump as no negative issues have risen, replacing a 1 hp Hayward Superpump II that was around 15 years old . The pump speed control is straight forward and convenient for altering flow rates. It is not obvious that there is any electrical savings that amount to much.
