Good Luck

This item just didn't work with my Mac Book Pro on. D-Link Ethernet network. I have 35 years of experience in IT with heavy networking and system management expertise. I had all the current software updates, and spent 4 hours trying to get the software installed and working. At one point I was able to access an external HDD but it went away when I added a second one. After that I couldn't get anything to work. I sent it back. This product has been around a long time. It should be simple to install and solid by now. Disappointing.
