Is it possible for an eyeliner to be my soul mate?

I am in love with this product, I started using it 3 months ago, I'm extremely picky when it comes to my eyeliner, it's so pigmented, stays put all day, creates super sharp lines and has great blend ability before it drys, I don't think I'll ever use a different kind of liquid eyeliner again.

Great but slightly annoying

I've had this for a while and use it regularly, I can't fault the pigment and the longevity but the hairs on the tip splay from when you re-cap the product, makes it super annoying to apply but has only just started splaying after 5 months of use.

I've bought this pen over 20+ times in the last four years, I have always swore by it for pigment, durability and price however the last 2 times I have purchased (since new tip+formula) the pen has frayed after 2 days and dries up after 1 week? Normally this pen would last me 2 months but now it lasts 2 weeks, very disappointed I will have to part ways and buy something else
