Alexander Classique Alto Saxophone Reeds Box of 5 (2.5)

Conceptualized as a reed that would provide musicians with a wide palette of expression, and classically grounded performance characteristics...those that produce a warm, dynamically balanced, sonorously beautiful tone. Tested first for clarinet then later seperately designed just for sax, the Classique reed was able to provide a darker tone which this reed's harder tip and heart produce. Many of the design elements expanded upon a reed which clarinetests had been singing the praises of for yours, but with current technology allowing better hardness testing and consistent manufacturing. Most similarly compared to Vandoren classical sax reeds, and V-12 clarinet reeds.
